Originally from Alabama this is an early 63 model year ragtop. Pearl white originally she now sports some funky primer. We bought this locally in Huntersville, NC from the guy who had rescued it from the salvage place – quite the journey..

Front bumper on, hood up and sealed, new wheels and tires on, painted rechromed hubcaps, and with an NC title. NOS front lights too.
Interior
Tuesday, February 1st, 2005As returned from the trim shop. Excellent fit and finish although they were unable to use the long chrome on the outer hood. We also had the front and rear windows fitted with new rubbers and chrome trim. (more…)
Buildup
Friday, October 1st, 2004We stripped off all the old material from the hood so it too could be powder coated. All the wood was amazingly in good condition – we think the hood had been refurbished at least once before and new wood used. We ordered the material for the new hood from convertible specialties CA. Excellent price and very knowledgeable. NOS rear lens and license plate lens. Found a period NC tag plate from 1962 – all legal so long as you carry the current tag in the car with you. (more…)
